Kathy was a good friend of ours. She was in her 30s and became concerned about breast cancer because her mom died of breast cancer. So she went to have a mammogram — and sure enough, they found a mass. The doctor said they found it early. So they started chemo right away. She soon went into remission. Unfortunately, the story doesn't end there.
A few months later, the mass was back. Kathy didn't want to go through chemo again. So she asked me to help her find another way to treat it. I took her to a doctor who had successfully treated breast cancer and asked him for help. He said, "The best I can do is help you manage the cancer and, hopefully, live a long time with it. Curing cancer is in God's hands." Having a deep faith, Kathy was happy. So she started treatment.
The doctor focused his treatment around a drug called Ukrain. Ukrain, as you might guess, is named after the country Ukraine. The man who discovered this drug named it after his country of origin. This drug is really nothing more than a semi-synthetic compound derived from the common weed, greater celandine.
Folk medicine has used greater celandine for centuries to help various digestive problems, including upset stomach, gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), constipation, loss of appetite, stomach cancer, intestinal polyps, and liver and gallbladder disorders. However, in more recent years, people have used it to detox, treat menstrual cramps, cough, pain, breast lumps, and heart disease (including angina, arteriosclerosis, and high blood pressure). Some even say it can help with asthma, gout, and arthritis.

Because of its healing abilities, a chemist from Ukraine – Vasyl Novytskyi — combined greater celandine with thiotepa. Thiotepa, or thiophosphoric acid, is one of the earliest chemotherapy drugs. Novytaskyi found that the combination had a unique ability to attack cancer. The chemo would attack the tumor cells. And the greater celandine would eliminate the toxic side-effects of thiotepa. This gave Ukrain the ability to fight cancer without killing healthy cells. And it works. The Ukrainian Cancer Institute found that using Ukrain in stages I and II offers the best success rates — 93% and 72% respectively. However, it can still work in advanced metastatic cancer, with a 30% success rate. And many of these people, like Kathy, can hold their cancers at bay with Ukrain, even though it may not fully cure it.
These success rates are striking. The Bristol Cancer Help Centre in the United Kingdom describes Ukrain as "the only known product, which at present does not also destroy healthy cells, and which reduces tumors and boosts the immune system."
Dr. Wassil Nowicky, of the Ukrainian Cancer Institute, has a much more glowing recommendation of the product. He says, "UKRAIN has so far been tested on 160 cancer cell lines and demonstrated a toxic effect against all of them.
"Among other institutes, UKRAIN has been tested on 60 cell lines at the National Cancer Institute (Bethesda, Maryland, USA) including eight important malignant human tumours: brain tumour, ovarian cancer, small-cell and non-small-cell bronchial carcinoma, colorectal carcinoma, kidney cancer, leukaemia, and malignant melanoma. UKRAIN was toxicologically effective against all of these cell lines.
"At the same time, studies at various universities have shown that UKRAIN does not damage normal cells at comparable doses. UKRAIN can bring about a full regression of the main tumour and also metastases. In the treatment of advanced tumours UKRAIN can improve overall quality of life and prolong survival time. The first patients to have been treated with UKRAIN are still alive after more than 20 years. Randomised clinical studies have confirmed its effectiveness against malignant tumours as well as its beneficial immuno-modulating properties."
Even with all this evidence, the FDA has yet to approve it and most doctors in the U.S. won't consider using it. I'll tell you why in Saturday's Nutrient Insider. I'll also tell you the rest of Kathy's tragic story and how you can get this treatment.
