I used BCAA's when I was younger and first getting into strength training. Although it had been decades since I used them, I figured they may offer some benefits now that I am in my 50's. I tried the tablets, then decided to try the powder. The tablets are great because I could take 3 in the AM and 2 in the PM (the recommendation is 5 per day). The powder is 1x per day, and it is best taken on an empty stomach. I feel like the powder is more readily absorbed and, what's more, I definitely feel like I am recovering much quicker after and between workouts.
